Smart girl answering random questions about Islam in New York, USA.

Concerning the question about where Allah is, some people may dispute the answer to that question so here is the answer to those whom disputes it:

''Then He Istawâ (rose over) towards the heaven and made them seven heavens and He is the All-Knower of everything.'' [2:29]

Is there anything more clearer than that?

If you say: ''but Allah doesnt actually mean that He rose over the heavens.'', well, let me tell you one thing, who gave you permission to make tafseer of the Quran? No one.
Muhammad saws never said anything about it and he is the most correct in any aspects of Islam, nor did the great scholars whom made tafseer of the Quran say anything about it. So please do not say something without knowledge.

Now the answer to the question about the Prophet's birthday:

we know that the Sahaabah (may Allah be pleased with them) were the people who loved the Prophet most. Was it reported that Abu Bakr, who was the closest of people to him and the one who loved him the most, celebrated the birthday of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)? Was it reported that 'Umar, who ruled for twelve years, or 'Uthmaan, did this? Was it reported that 'Ali, his relative and foster son, did this? Was it reported that any of the Sahaabah did this? No, by Allah! Is it because they were not aware of its importance, or did they not truly love the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)? No one would say such a thing except one who has gone astray and is leading others astray.

Did any of the imaams -- Abu Haneefah, Maalik, al-Shaafi'i, Ahmad, al-Hasan al-Basri, Ibn Seereen -- do this or command others to do it or say that it was good? By Allah, no! It was not even mentioned during the first and best three centuries.
If you are saying: ''It is good, what is wrong with it? its not bid'ah I only do it because I love the Prophet and it takes me closer to him in love!'' then you must know that every little thing we can do to come closer in love to our beloved Prophet he would have told us to do it!

::nina says::
So please, love the Prophet by obeying him, not disobeying him.
